Description
Since January 2011, a revolution has been underway in Yemen, forgotten by the rest of the world. Manon Loizeau chose to film the women's revolt, focusing in particular on three of them: Tawakol Karman, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2011, Nadia Abdullah, a student who improvised herself as the revolution's camerawoman, and Ensen Dogesh, who camped out for two years with her family in Change Square. Each in her own way embodies the tremendous liberalization of women's voices in Yemen.
